Hello there tiny M. You are just so precious.
I took photos of Sally’s and James’s wedding. So this newborn shoot was extra special to me. It’s nice seeing the whole family (four of them) together, as if they’ve always been like this. Even though it’s only been 9 days with the new addition of M. Check out the rest of the shoot for more photos of this stunning little family on the main part of the website. Enjoy!

What an absolute pleasure to do this photo shoot for a friend and fellow yogini! Her 5 week old bubba was just the cutest. Bright blue eyes, chubby little legs, tiny little fingers and toes. What more could anyone want on a sunday morning? Massive congrats to little C&D on little Kobe!
If these photos aren’t enough, head over here for some more.

Pure gorgeousness awaited me when I went to see the lovely J with her cutie pie son Paul. There was cake in the oven for a birthday party the next day, and the whole apartment smelled just yummy. How organised can any new Mum possibly be? Meanwhile bubba was chilling out, checking out the scene and my big camera. Now, sit down and hold on, otherwise you might faint due to the severe awwwwwhhhsomeness coming your way.

I had the best morning. I got to spend it with a brand new little family – Yasmin and Jamie invited me to come and meet baby Leo. What a gorgeous little man he is. He made my life really easy by being super chilled. He let me move him, hold him, pose him – what a little champ!
I do have a weak spot for brand new tiny newborn feet. They are just so… soft, squishy and, well..new. I spent a fair amount of time tickling those little feet and enjoying the feel of those tiny tiny feet.
It doesn’t take much to imagine that little Leo will grow into the cutest of little boys and the most handsomest of young men one day. He already had us all wrapped around his minute fingers. And both new parents looked ridiculously fresh for just having had a new family member. Congratulations to a beautiful son, Jasmin and Jamie! See the rest of the photos!

As a designer and photographer it is important to keep the inspiration going. That isn’t always an easy task. Some projects are easier than others. And it wouldn’t be the first time that I got stuck somewhere along the way. Perhaps right at the beginning, at the brilliant idea stage, or a little later when trying to sketch out that, what I can almost see in my head, but which hasn’t quite materialised just yet. Or it’s at the finishing touches stage, just that last bit where something is just not perfect (yet).
So what to do? Generally I try and see the beauty in everything. Doesn’t have to be big and spectacular, the world isn’t full of constant rainbows or sunsets. But what it is full of is of is endless little things; shapes, shadows, reflections, patterns… And seeing them, finding them, acknowledging them, that is where I find my imagination and motivation.

A nice and early start for this one… to the beautiful Teresita beach for a family photo shoot. Arriving at Teresita Beach in North Tenerife nice and early was really lovely. Locals taking a walk along the beach or having an early morning swim, the sun’s rays were dancing on the water and made for great light, and the kids started running about as soon as we got there. We set up camp and just explored the various little nooks and crannies along the edge of the beach. These lot just photograph way too well, and I struggled editing the photos down to a manageable amount. Check out the rest of the photos here
Thank you!
We had such a lovely early morning!!!!
I am so proud of my little family. Katja

So let’s see how I can work this whole wordpress site thing out….
I did a wedding photo shoot of a different kind this weekend. Take a a look at the full photos here (permalink to specific part of portfolio??? Look up how)
The lovely Katja and her husband Bert wanted to have wedding photos with a twist. Sure, they wanted the traditional couple photos, too. But they also wanted something a bit quirky, something a bit fun, something that reflected them and their personalities. We set out on a little journey passing many locations – Katja had done some research and found a few spots she wanted the shoot to take place at. And a good job she did. The scenery was stunning, the light got better and better and the lovely couple just got happier and funnier as we went along. What a pleasure it was to do this shoot!
